Take in a high-definition theatre presentation, Born to Fly, at the Theatre in the Sky. The Tribute to the Forest guided walking tours feature 30 four-metre wooden sculptures by chainsaw artist Glen Greensides. Other attractions include logger sport shows, mountain bike and helicopter tours, and tandem paragliding with a certified instructor. Enjoy Pacific Northwest Native culture in its natural setting at the hiwus feasthouse where First Nations staff share their cultural traditions with visitors. The Observatory in the lodge serves fine West Coast cuisine. Winter recreation enthusiasts flock to Grouse Dec.-Apr.
Home to the Mount Seymour Ski Resort, this provincial park offers views of North vancouver and a multitude of recreational opportunities. During the summer, bikers and hikers fill the park's trails. In the winter months, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing become the activities of choice.
